Ambition at scale.
Build for millions. Earn that ambition through proof, one context at a time.
Founder · Operator · Investor
For close to 30 years, my work has ranged from architecture and turnarounds to building companies and backing founders. Today I am focused on how AI can reach many more people and businesses while knowledge and judgment stay with them. The ambition is a universal AI foundation that is safe, reliable, trusted and accessible.
01 / Approach
Build for millions. Earn that ambition through proof, one context at a time.
Take risk as a founder. Be careful with another person's knowledge, reputation and decisions.
Look past the tool to structure, incentives and people. Then find a first step to test.
Challenge strong views with evidence and disagreement. Easy agreement is rarely useful.
Give capable people room to decide. Authority and accountability travel together.
02 / Judgment
03 / Current work
AskDiana is the current bet, built with the team at 4Square Innovations. The aim is to make powerful AI useful to organisations through their own knowledge, permissions and controls. Real users are already putting it to work; the much larger ambition is to make that capability accessible to millions.
It follows a longer pattern: build capability people can use while keeping responsibility with those who own the work.
Explore 4Square InnovationsYour organisation knows more than it can use. AI can unlock it. But regulation, confidentiality, privacy and sovereignty change how you can use AI. AskDiana gives you a private, governed and verifiable AI foundation inside your permissions and controls. Know. Decide. Act with AI grounded in knowledge you can trust. Your knowledge. Your permissions. Your AI. If that matters to your organisation, let's connect.
04 / Writing
These pieces test a view where AI, knowledge, responsibility and real work meet.
05 / About
My career began in enterprise systems and moved from architecture into running and growing organisations. Work across many markets and cultures taught a recurring lesson: the same plan can succeed or fail depending on who can carry it.
At RheinBrücke, the work was scaling a business; at Baker Hughes, transformation; at Epicor, a profitability turnaround. Different settings, each requiring strategic intention to become decisions, habits and results.
Mentoring and investing have deepened a respect for those willing to build while the evidence is still incomplete. Giving real responsibility to capable people, and learning from the ones who challenge a view, remain part of the work.
The current chapter is 4Square Innovations, built from Lithuania with collaborators across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. The earlier chapters shaped this one; they do not limit what comes next.
